NatareOps
Membership, check-in, guard scheduling, certifications, and water chemistry — NatareOps replaces the three tools and the spreadsheet you're juggling today.
No credit card. No procurement maze. Your demo is with the person who built it — not a sales rep.
Trusted daily at Zionsville Aquatic Center
I've spent my whole life on every side of the pool: a competitive swimmer since age 8, a swim instructor for over four decades, a Level 3 Masters coach, a lifeguard — including at the U.S. Olympic Trials in Indianapolis — and a pool manager. Along the way I set a club record at 12, a high-school record that stood for 23 years, and a state masters record at 40.
My day job is the other half of this. I've spent nearly thirty years building software — the last twelve in healthcare, where isolating patient data isn't a feature request, it's the law — and before that I ran an IT department as the technical lead for our SSAE16, PCI DSS, and FISMA security audits. NatareOps is what happened when those two lives collided: the operations platform I built inside a working aquatic center, carrying three years of live operating data.
When you book a demo, you're talking to me.
NatareOps is the operating system for modern aquatic facilities. Natare Heartbeat watches the systems that keep your operation moving — and tells you when something goes quiet.
Surfaces stale readings, stalled integrations, and blocked operational data before a silent gap becomes days of missing records.
"A scheduling app that doesn't know which guards are certified."
"A membership system that can't see the schedule."
"And chemistry readings on a clipboard, praying the inspector doesn't ask for March."
Three subscriptions. Zero shared data.
NatareOps is what happens when one system runs both sides of the pool.
Build templates, publish to dates, assign staff — and the picker only shows people qualified for the role. Expiring certifications are flagged 30 days out, on your dashboard, not in a filing cabinet.
Readings arrive automatically from onsite controllers — at Zionsville, every 15 minutes, with no staff and no clipboard. Each one is scored against CDC-aligned thresholds you configure per pool and flagged Balanced, Warning, or Danger. When somebody asks for six weeks of history, it's a filter, not an afternoon. Manual entry works from day one; controller integration is scoped during onboarding.
A full roster with statuses, types, and family accounts. Fob and badge check-in through a check-in app tailored to your facility during onboarding, with visit history on every member.
Hour-by-day heatmaps of visitors, chemistry, and shift coverage. Know when to staff up — and when you're burning payroll on an empty pool.
Classes, sessions, qualified-instructor assignment, and enrollment with payment status per student — plus printable check-in sheets for every session.
A REST API plus integrations to your registration platform, access hardware, or onsite apps. Standard integrations included; custom work scoped and quoted.
Compare current plans and choose the right starting point for your operation.
View plansThey already use harder apps to order lunch. Staff see their schedule and their certifications; the complexity lives on the admin side, and the admin side was designed by someone who has run a pool deck.
We import it for you — members, memberships, and history. It's the same white-glove process we used to migrate 577 members and 23,000+ visits for Zionsville Aquatic Center.
Keep it. NatareOps has a REST API and integrates with your existing registration platform, access hardware, or onsite apps. Standard integrations are included in onboarding; anything custom is scoped and quoted up front.
Every record is scoped to your organization at the database level. Your data is never visible to another client, and access within your team is role-based. For context on who's making that promise: I've spent nearly thirty years in software, the last twelve building healthcare systems under HIPAA, and I previously served as technical lead for SSAE16, PCI DSS, and FISMA security audits. I've spent a lot of my career on the answering side of exactly the security questionnaire your IT department is going to send me — send it.
Fair question, and you should ask it. I've been a professional software engineer for nearly thirty years and ran an IT department with a seven-figure budget before that — this isn't a weekend project. It carries 1,600+ automated tests, an independent security review with no critical or high findings, and your data exports on demand, any time, in a format you can take elsewhere. The upside of one person: your demo, your onboarding, and your support call are all with the person who wrote the software. Nobody routes you to a tier-one queue.
Text-message alerts to staff and members and online class registration. We'd rather tell you what's coming than pretend it's already here.
Annual, billed once — sized for a seasonal operation, with no per-staff pricing. Hire twenty guards in June and your price doesn't change. Your data exports with you, any time.
Built inside a working aquatic center — and demoed by the person who built it.
